- Focus on the lift rather than the weight
- Nobody cares that you can unsafely bench a certain weight
- The contraction and form is more productive and safe
- Compound movements are the most productive
- Squats, Deadlifts, and Bench press will get you bigger
- Don't forget your calves
- There's no point of have a great upper body while having scrawny calves
- Don't forget your shoulders
- Side delts were always a weak point for me. Once I focused on deltoid movements I was amazed at how complete I started appearing. Don't forget to develop those shoulders
- Don't get fat
- There's many strong guys out there, but they don't look as healthy as someone who has less bodyfat
- Best way to lose bodyfat is to eat more protein and cut back on carbs
- One or two quality sets is more productive than multiple sets of moderate quality
- Intensity tells the body to grow
- Controlled negatives increase intensity greatly
- Slow is safe and controlled
- Don't be afraid to lesson the weight. The goal is to build the body, not to enhance the ego
